Hope Central is sustained by the monthly pledges and generosity of our congregation and friends.
We are a giving congregation. Your monthly pledges and occasional gifts allow Hope Central to do the work to which God calls us. We are thankful for your generosity.
Choose one of our online giving options - Venmo or Vanco by clicking the buttons below. Please be sure to annotate "2024 pledge,"or "Donation," or "Reparations Fund." We have recently moved away from Paypal because of the fee charged to the church for every transation.

There are a few different funds you can allocate your donation to, by noting in the description section of your Venmo, the notes space on your check, or finding the category on Vanco.

How can I fulfill my pledge or make a donation?
Electronic bill pay. Simply add Hope Central Church to your payees on your bank’s “Pay Bills” webpage. Most banks offer an automatic payment option. Donating in this way requires no service fee for you or for Hope Central.
Give electronically. Choose one of our online giving options - Venmo or Vanco by clicking the buttons below. Please be sure to annotate "2024 pledge," "Donation," or "Reparations Fund." We have moved away from Paypal because of the fee charged to the church for every transaction.
By check. Just be sure to write in the memo blank, "2024 pledge," or "Donation." You can mail this to Hope Central Church, 85 Seaverns Ave., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130, or put it in the offering plate during service.
In cash. Just be sure to put the cash in an envelope clearly marked with your name and “2024 Stewardship,” that way we know it’s a Stewardship contribution. You can mail this or put it in the offering plate during service.
What is a pledge?
A pledge is the promise of a donation to Hope Central Church for its mission and to fulfill its deepest spiritual values.
How can I make a pledge?
You can go ahead and donate today for 2023. You can fill out a pledge card and mail it to Hope Central Church at 85 Seaverns Ave, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130. You can bring your pledge card to our Sunday morning worship.
How much should I pledge?
Tithing, a dedicated percentage of our individual income from 1% to 10%, gross or net, interest or capital to Hope Central, can help us decide how to make a right-size pledge, not giving too much nor too little. Pledging a small percentage at first allows us a beginning practice of generosity for this work in which we believe. Increasing the percentage over years allows our generosity to deepen, to be a journey, marked by sign posts and paved with joy. Hope Central practices tithing 10% of our plate and pledge offerings to organizations that align with our mission and spiritual values. We tithe our building and parking use, too.
