Laura Ruth uses the example of water, that we at Hope Central dive into the "waters" to see if Jesus will hold us up. And that we represent Jesus and are "lifeguards" to those who go down too far in the water and need help, just as Jesus did for Peter.

This Sunday, February 19, 2023, Rev. Nina Swift ponders the Transfiguration of Jesus while she holds her Grandchild Artemis. Jesus was revealed as fully human by Mary, and fully Holy by the Creator. And Aremis is also fully human and fully holy and how can you be born with "Original Sin" when we are all created in the image of God just like Artemis? Rev. Nina asks us to see who we really are with the help of God.
